Ongoing initiatives and projects
O Polsce po polsku
From September 2021 to October 2023, the Ocalenie Foundation runs “O Polsce po polsku” project, financed by the NOWEFIO Civic Initiatives Fund Program for 2021-2030.
The project’s mission is to promote the knowledge about the language and culture of Poland to foreigners who are attempting to settle in Poland.. It encourages to develop one’s civic attitude, local identity.as well it empowers the view on volunteering work as a pro-civic activity which influences integration to the local community.
The activities are targeted at both youth and adults and consist of three components:
- Polish language courses with elements of cultural knowledge.
- Volunteer system.
- Citizenship education for children and young people with migration experience.
