24 month project sponsored by CARE
The project, planned for 24 months (July 2022 – June 2024), is dedicated to refugees and migrants living in Poland, including (but not limited to) refugees who arrived from Ukraine after the Russian invasion and asylum seekers on the Polish-Belarussian border. The proposed support is complex and addresses some of the most pressing needs faced by the targeted groups in Poland: integration obstacles, financial challenges and limited access to Polish language courses; lack of access to humanitarian assistance ) on the Polish-Belarussian border). These obstacles are addressed by the following activities proposed within the project:
- operation of the Help Center for Foreigners in Łódź (complex support for
foreigners, incl. support of cultural mentors, lawyers, psychologists and job
advisors), - Polish courses for adults in Warsaw, Łódź and Łomża,
- in-kind support and cash assistance (in a form of prepaid shopping vouchers) in Warsaw, Łódż and Łomża,
- humanitarian assistance (operational costs and in-kind support) to asylum seekers on Polish-Belarussian border.
To ensure sustainability, the project also addresses the needs for institutional development of the Foundation (external relations and business partnerships development and administrative development.
A monitoring and evaluation framework will be developed as a part of the project, including definitions of indicators, ongoing and post-evaluation tools as well as audit of project databases. The monitoring and evaluation framework will combine internal data collection and analysis with external evaluation and audit.
